His store became the talk of the town after he shared his love for two different worlds: drag queens and croissants. He created his drag events called Drag Brunch and MerienDrag, wherein his customers can enjoy his exquisite croissants while watching world-class performances from local renowned drag queens like the Divine Divas (Brigiding, Precious Paula Nichole, Viñas DeLuxe), Marina Summers, NAIA, and more!

He also bakes bespoke pastries for the LGBTQIA+ community – like French Vanilla Fantasy, Berry Gay, and Baklava, to name a few. He always supports LGBTQIA+ events, especially during Pride month.
